Living in Texas sometimes results in loving country music by default. So when a country music artist comes to the Bryan-College Station area, it usually results in a great time. On November 3, Bart Alan Woytek will be performing at La Salle Hotel in downtown Bryan at 8 p.m.
The Katy, Texas native grew up listening to classic country music, which ignited his love for singing and songwriting. During the 90s, Woytek’s career started taking off, and he performed with artists such as Kenny Chesney, Roger Creager, Gary Allan and Charlie Robison, among others.
Bart recorded his first album, “Reckless Hearts,” and, soon after, he released his first major-market radio single, “Tapestry Heartaches.” He co-wrote the song with Joe Diffie and Lonnie Wilson. Country music fans received the song very well, and it even made it to the top 20 in March of 2000.
Woytek’s voice is like no other. It has a natural ring to it, and, if you listen closely, you can hear him pouring his heart out. The truthful sound of his voice is not mixed with pop sounds, as many new country singers’ are. Woytek’s music also has a ring of authenticity that makes the music really relate to the listeners. His amazing country voice is so relaxing, which gives for an excellent country experience.
Woytek took a break from the music scene in 2001 to focus on his family, but now he is coming back stronger than ever. If wholehearted country music is to your liking, come out and have a great time with Woytek. He will be singing some old school country music from his first big break, as well as his new single “You Can’t Leave Here with My Heart.”
The outside venue at La Salle is relaxing, and the hanging lights give it a romantic feel. Full food and drink service is provided outside by 120 Kitchen & Spirits.
Come out to the historic hotel, La Salle, to enjoy a wonderful venue while listening to the long time experienced country music artist, Bart Alan Woytek.
