If it’s been a long week and you’re looking for fun with the family on a Friday night, Eats and Beats is the answer! The Eats and Beats free concert series has an exciting lineup of musical performances. Every Friday evening throughout the summer, a different artist will take the stage at the Lake Walk Town Center Pavillion. And be sure to pair the musical beats with some delicious eats from local food trucks!

There’s something for everyone at Eats and Beats. While you enjoy the music and a cold drink, the kids can enjoy bounce houses and yard games. It’s sure to be an evening the whole family can enjoy—even the family dog! Yes, dogs are welcome at Lake Walk, but don’t forget the leash!

The food trucks will be open for business at 7:00 p.m. However, leave the coolers at home as they won’t be allowed in the venue. Fret not, all beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be sold all night!

Pack up your lawn chairs and blankets on June 28 because Aggieland’s own, Jack Thweatt, will bring us an exciting performance starting at 8:00 p.m. Thweatt’s catchy melodies and heartfelt lyrics can be enjoyed by listeners of all ages.

Thweatt graduated with a degree in Aerospace Engineering, but his passion for music couldn’t be put off. He has performed with countless big-name artists, and still finds time to do shows across the state. Recent performances include Brazos Valley Fair and Rodeo and opening for Breakaway at Texas A&M last fall..

The last concert of the series is on August 23, headlined by Buffalo Ruckus. Don’t miss out on any of the upcoming concerts in the Eats and Beats series this summer!
