Summertime in Texas isn’t complete for country music fans without a schedule packed with concerts, so grab your dancing partner and head out to Hurricane Harry’s.
Jon Wolfe and Triston Marez – July 12
On Friday July 12, get your boots on the dance floor because Jon Wolfe will perform with guest Triston Marez. Wolfe has come a long way since his years in small-town Oklahoma and his first album release in 2004; he now plays at honkey-tonks and festivals around the country. His energetic performance will keep you dancing all night long.
Wolfe will share the stage with Triston Marez, the 2014 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo’s talent competition winner. Marez comes from a musical family known for their bluegrass style and fiddle talent, so country music is in his DNA. To support his music career, Marez dabbled in bull riding and worked as a ranch hand, but the stage is where he belongs.
Randy Rogers and Wade Bowen – July 17
The Randy Rogers and Wade Bowen tour, “Hold My Beer and Watch This,” is making a stop for the Acoustic Summer Series at Harry’s on Wednesday, July 17. Rogers and Bowen have toured together, packing venues for the last decade. Separately, Rogers and Bowen have their own successful music careers, but together, they’ll put on a show that will keep your boots stompin’ all night long as they tell the story of their friendship and careers. This will not be “the night to play it safe or take it easy,” so waste no more precious time and come out for good times and good music!
Tickets for Jon Wolfe are on sale for $12, and for Randy Rogers and Wade Bowen are $15. You can purchase tickets at the door until they sell out, or online at http://bit.ly/2NE8teu until 8:00 p.m. the night of the shows. Doors will open at 9:00 p.m., so get there early and be ready for a boot-scootin’ night of fun. Remember, concert-goers must be at least 18 years old with a valid ID for admittance to the venue.
