With a new year, brings new beginnings. Opportunities to reinvent ourselves have suddenly re-appeared. The things we may have once regretted, are now new opportunities. The life chapters we have so graciously written over the past year, are now novels of the past. However, with every book that closes, a new year gives us the chance to write a new story.
Since 2004, Maroon Weekly has had the opportunity to write and share several stories with the residents of the Bryan/College Station area. From connecting people with up and coming events, to engaging the community on the latest in music and fashion, Maroon Weekly has established itself as one of the premier guides for all things BCS. With over 13 years of being the towns trusted guide for who, what and where in Aggieland, this publication has managed to keep that same great vision alive into 2017.
As this publications proud new Co-Owner and Creative Director, I’m committed to ensuring that the integrity of this great paper lives on through its weekly content, social media platforms and online site. Outside of ensuring that our mission still stands strong, 2017 has some exciting things in store with Maroon Weekly. With the brands main focus being restructured to highlight local businesses and a Maroon Weekly app launching later this year, we have a lot to offer our 100,000 plus readers going into 2017!
On behalf of the entire staff here at Maroon Weekly, my partners and I would like to thank you for the years of continual support and invite you to join us as we write this new and exciting chapter of Maroon Weekly. Words cannot express how extremely grateful we all are to be your premier guide in the BCS. I would also like to say a special thank you to our cover feature and my dear friend, Ms. Randa Yezak. Thank you for allowing us to share your story with everyone.
