An evening of mirage and mystery inspired by the classic game “Clue” is coming your way! On June 1 at 7 p.m., Messina Hof Winery & Resort invites you to hone your detective skills as it hosts another one of its famed interactive Murder Mystery dinners where the guests become the show.

As soon as the stage is set, each guest will slip into their personas, finding clues between each course as they interact with other characters to discover who among them is the murderer. According to the winery’s Event Coordinator, Allison Ricke, even though Messina Hof hosts four mystery dinners per year, the “Clue” dinner is always on the menu due to popular demand. “The ‘Clue’ Murder Mystery Dinner gives the people of Bryan/College Station something fun and different to do in town,” says Ricke. “Each guest enjoys a three-course meal with our wines, allowing them to experience our Vineyard Cuisine and award-winning wines all in their own backyard.”

Messina Hof’s Murder Mystery dinners are family affairs, as guests of all ages are encouraged to attend. Those guests familiar with the board game or 1985 movie, “Clue,” can have a sense of what the night will hold before the event commences. Since character assignments and costume suggestions go out before the date of the event, even those unfamiliar with the game can enjoy immersing themselves in the compelling new story.

Describing the event, Ricke says, “The “Clue” dinner is also unique to Messina Hof because the game is played in our Villa Bed & Breakfast on property,” She continues, “There are Couples Packages available for guests participating in the game to also stay at the Villa the night of the game, and individual tickets for those who would like to play the game separately from a stay with us.”

Tickets to the Murder Mystery are $69.95. The cost for those who wish to spend the night at the Villa Bed & Breakfast is $350 per couple. At the Villa, couples will find themselves amongst antiques collected by Messina Hof’s founders, Paul and Merrill Bonarrigo, and are sure to be captivated upon seeing their specific room’s theme and design.
