Roses are red, violets are blue, Valentine’s Day is near, and The Stella Hotel welcomes you. Prepare to fall in love this Valentine’s Day as you celebrate with your sweetheart at Bryan/College Stations’ first independent full-service hotel.

Notorious for its warmth and cherished traditions of Texas, The Stella Hotel is ideal for those who are searching for a romantic getaway. The hotel is offering a Romantic Room package, a Prix Fixe Menu for two and a Valentine’s Day Nightcap at Hershel’s Bar. Guaranteed to make sparks fly, these offers are perfect opportunities for couples to relish in the magic that Valentine’s Day brings. “The Stella is an upscale, luxury hotel where local couples can celebrate Valentine’s Day without having to travel to larger cities,” says Taylor Morriss, marketing and sales coordinator at The Stella Hotel. “We are considered to be on the outskirts of town, and this gives guests the illusion that they are getting away without having to go far,” she adds.

The Romantic Room package consists of a 15 percent discount on room rates, valid Feb. 13-17. Those who take advantage of this special offer will receive complementary chocolate truffles and a bottle of Francois Montand Methode Traditionalle Brut Rosé upon arrival. With six different room options, three of which are suites, guests can make the most of their stay at The Stella. Hotel amenities include the Campfire Restaurant and Bar, Hershel’s Bar, and POV coffee house, among many others. Guest room reservations can be booked with promo code VALSPEC by calling (888)-878-3553 or by visiting  The Stella Hotel website.

Those who do not reserve a room but wish to experience the traditional Texas taste of the hotel’s cuisine are able to do so. The Prix Fixe Menu for two will offer couples the chance to explore the Campfire Restaurant and Bar on the evening of Feb. 14, 5:30-10 p.m. This seven-course dinner for two will offer snacks to share, such as crudo of Alaskan sea scallops, roasted pumpkin and wild mushrooms, and winter citrus risotto. Warm Campfire Rolls, a house made sourdough roll, will also be served prior to dinner with whipped butter and smoked sea salt. The main course will be a ribeye entree for two to share, complete with taleggio sauce and preserved tomato and pepper chutney.

The dinner will end on a sweet note as couples will be able to enjoy two desserts, yogurt mousse with grapefruit granita and rosemary candy, in addition to a molten chocolate cake for two, garnished with hazelnuts and maple. A Thompson 31Fifty wine pairing menu will also be available for purchase to accommodate the meal. Couples can experience the Prix Fixe Menu seven-course dinner for $95 per person, and the optional wine pairing can be enjoyed for an additional $35 per person. These prices do not include tax or gratuity.

If you and your sweetheart are wanting to continue the celebration at nightfall, The Stella invites you to its speakeasy-style bar, Hershel’s, for the Valentine’s Day Nightcap on Feb. 14. Hershel’s intimate environment features soft mood lighting, making it a romantic venture for those searching to enjoy small bites and drinks, says Morriss. Rosebud cocktails and half-priced select wine bottles will be available for purchase as you sip in style with your significant other. “Our rosebud cocktail is a pink, sweet drink created by one our bartenders,” adds Morriss. Featured in the Valentine’s Day Nightcap, this dessert cocktail is ideal for those who enjoy the sweeter things in life.

“The Stella Hotel offers a romantic vibe to those who visit, making it the perfect place for guests to sit back and celebrate with loved ones,” says Morriss.
