Summer in Aggieland means it’s time for the Starlight Music Series! Small-town girls and city boys are all invited to jump in to the already swinging season at Wolf Pen Creek Amphitheater on June 1, when the Dallas-based band Infinite Journey will take the stage with the New England-based band Cold As Ice.
Pack up your coolers and picnic blankets and head over for a night of food, fun, and an immersive tribute to rock-and-roll classics. Since 2012, Infinite Journey has been entertaining crowds with the Journey hits that everyone has been shamelessly singing at the top of their lungs since the late 70’s. Don’t stop believing that this will be a night that you will never forget!
Cold as Ice is one of the nation’s top Foreigner tribute bands. Summer in Texas is hot, but Cold as Ice will help you beat the heat with their remakes of classic 80’s rock ballads such as “Cold as Ice,” “Feels Like the First Time,” and many more. The band came together to bring the hits of Foreigner and other classic rock-and-roll songs back to life.
Not only will this be a nice walk down memory lane, but also a great opportunity to introduce your children to the music that you’ve loved for decades.
The summer fun never ends with the Starlight Music Series! Every concert is free for guests of all ages, so get there early to claim your spot with the best view of the show. Guests are allowed and encouraged to bring their own cooler full of food and drinks, but remember glass containers are not allowed. Free parking is available at Post Oak Mall, just a short walk from the park. Gates open at 6:00 p.m., and the concert begins at 7:00 p.m. sharp.
