A long time professional musician, Beck and his two other bands played the likes of Grand Ole Opry and Gruene Hall, but after seeing a Selena performance, he knew Tejano was the genre for him. David Beck’s Tejano Weekend features a unique lineup with an upright bass and accordion alongside more recognizable instruments like the guitar and drums.
