Lovebirds, it’s that time of year again! Forgot to outline the 14 in a big, red heart? Don’t fret – we’ve got your Valentine’s Day plans covered!
Of course, bouquets are almost a must on Valentine’s Day and lucky for us, HEB understands. Roses are on sale for around $10 a dozen and a variety of candy bouquets are priced from $20 – $45. Aside from bustles of candy, HEB has a variety of themed candy for the special day.
Messina Hof Winery will hold their romantic cellar tours the on 11 and 12–tickets are $25 per person and includes tasting a variety of their wines. Along with their tours, there will also be a dinner and dance on the 11 just for Valentine’s Day! Each ticket is priced at $84.95 and includes a three course meal, wine, and of course, dancing. For the 14, Messina Hof will have a special menu that can be found on their website. Dinner will be served from 5pm to 9pm and each meal is priced at $59.95, which includes a bottle of wine per couple. Keep in mind that reservations are required- make yours by visiting the website or calling.
Sticking with the dinner theme, Madden’s Casual Gourmet is also taking Valentine’s Day in stride! They also have a set three course Valentine’s menu with each meal priced at $60 with wine pairings available at $35. Be sure to make reservations in advance – you can do so by calling the restaurant.
Do keep in mind that the dress code for both Messina Hof is upscale! Take that as an opportunity to dress up and let your fancy side out.
Chocolate covered strawberries are always a favorite come February, and Edible Arrangements has many Valentine’s arrangements ready to order!
