Every child loves “The Polar Express,” so instead of just watching it at home this year, how about bringing the whole family down to The Children’s Museum to make the movie a reality? On Friday, November 30, the museum is hosting the party from 6-8 p.m., and don’t forget to wear your favorite pj’s!
A light dinner with sandwiches, soup, cookies and hot cocoa will be served throughout the evening to warm you and your children’s bellies. Dinner will be followed with some hands-on crafts for the kids. You’ll be able to make Christmas ornaments and gingerbread houses to take home, and of course sneak a few treats in the process. What’s making a gingerbread house without eating a couple gumdrops in the process?
The highlight of the evening will be the story time, featuring the classic book “The Polar Express.” Although the actual Polar Express won’t be able to make it, bring a cozy blanket or warm coat to enjoy the outdoor train ride with All Aboard Fun Train. The night will conclude with a special visit from Santa Claus, so make sure you have your wishlist ready.
How long has it been since you attended a pajama party? It might just be time to change that. Make a new holiday tradition with your family at The Children’s Museum.
This event will cost $20 per child and $10 per adult. You can obtain more ticket info at The Children’s Museum of Brazos Valley event website.
