The 5th annual Beat The Hell Out Of Breast Cancer Festival presented by F13 Music, Come and Take It Productions, and Rock 979 will be held at the Grand Stafford Theater in Downtown Bryan on October 14.

For five years, Seneca Homeyer has hosted the festival to raise money for a breast cancer victim in need. The donations from this event have increased with every passing year, and this year doesn’t appear to be any different. The festival supports a cause that Homeyer has always been passionate about after being raised by a woman who battled and ultimately survived breast cancer. Two years after losing a loved one to breast cancer, Homeyer decided to do his part in helping those in need which led to the birth of the Beat the Heal Out of Breast Cancer festival.

This year, there will be eight metal/rock bands playing the festival including Hindsight, Second Runner Up, Isonomist, Sol, Three33, Distance Here, Frame the Artist, and Voyage to Conquer. Many of these bands have played in Downtown Bryan before and are excited to come together to be a part of this great cause at one of Bryan’s most beloved music venues.

The Grand Stafford is the perfect venue for this event with its smaller setting that brings the crowd together under the flag of music. But particularly for this event, the desire to unite together under one roof for a cause and great music is real. If you enjoy venues that embody the close-knit vibe of Downtown Bryan and a have laid-back yet fun atmosphere that all music lovers will enjoy, then you won’t want to miss this event.

The doors of the Grand Stafford will open at 6:30pm on October 14 with performances beginning at 7pm. The event will welcome all ages with tickets costing $10 at the door. Donations are being accepted at a link that is available on the events’ Facebook page. Head on out to Downtown Bryan October 14, make a donation, enjoy great live performances, and help Beat the Hell Out of Breast Cancer!
