Could you escape a locked room that seems to have no way out? In recent years, businesses that test your ability to stay calm, solve puzzles, and escape have exploded in popularity. There is no doubt the concept of these businesses is frighteningly similar to the series of “Saw” movies many of us have binged on before, but trust us when we say that escape room games are fun, exciting, and a great way to test your limits. Three escape room establishments have opened in the Bryan and College Station area in the last year and we have all the details.

Padlock Escape Games is located on Texas Ave. right next to Tutor John and is owned and operated by Aggies. This was the first escape game to open in College Station and there are three unique rooms to challenge even the best escape artists. The themes of the rooms make the experience exciting and realistic and include Secret Study, Masquerade, and Kidnapped! Padlock provides an hour long experience for you to beat the clock and escape before time runs out, but get there early for instructions so you have the full hour to solve puzzles and unlock the door. Padlock is open Thursday-Sunday and you must make a reservation on their website. A reservation Monday-Wednesday is available upon request. T-shirts are available for all participants, but there are specific t-shirts only available to winners as well.

The premiere escape rooms at Escape Room BCS are located on Harvey Rd. near the Tap and are timed at one hour per game. Escape Room BCS also recommends a reservation and is open Wednesday-Sunday. Monday and Tuesday is reserved for private events that can also be booked on their website. Walk-ins are accepted at Escape Room BCS, but there is not guarantee there will be rooms open at your desired time. Escape Room BCS has several options of game play. You can choose to be locked in a room with the goal of escaping, but there are also games focused on solving a mystery. Escape room themes here include The Facility, Classified, Breakout, and Tomb. The Tomb is said to be the most difficult room, but all of these rooms are sure to put you and your friends to the test.

The Rooms of BCS is a family business that caters to all-ages. While most other escape rooms are too frightening for children, the place has options that children will love as well as more difficult and more horror-filled experiences as well. The game is timed at one hour and is a race against the clock. The Rooms of BCS is located in Bryan on E. 29th St. near Bryan High School. Reservations are a great way to solidify your spot in line. They are open Wednesday-Sunday and times depend on the day. Reservations can be made for Mondays and Tuesdays upon special request. Themes of these rooms include Escape the 90s, The Deadly Virus, and the brand new Basement of Horror.

Escape rooms are the perfect entertainment for any occasion. Perfect for date nights, team building exercises, parties, or nights out with family and friends, escape rooms will ensure you have a night you will never forget. Book a reservation at one of these BCS locations to test your skills, limits, and competitiveness. It is time to see what kind of escape artist you can be.
