RYAN WILCOX

By Hannah Hardwick

Americana and Folk-Rock artist Ryan Wilcox is coming to perform live at New Republic Brewing Taproom, one of Aggielands premiere breweries, on February 13.

Born and raised in Fort Worth, Wilcox has made a name for himself playing at distinguished venues such as Lola’s, The Capitol Bar, and The Grotto.  He’s considered an exceptional performer and entertainer, inspiring fans to come back to see him again and again. While many other singer/songwriters are known for their instrumentals and songwriting prowess or performance abilities, Ryan Wilcox is known for it all.  He knows how to connect with his audiences and crowds love his down-to-earth personality and sense of humor.

Wilcoxs long list of original pieces vary from Junior Kimbrough-inspired blues tunes to Dylanesque folk ballads powered by finger-style guitars and harmonica. He has also been known to mix covers with his own original songs.  Every performance of his is a passion-filled, sweat-soaked experience that leaves the crowd wanting more.

Take the time to come see Ryan Wilcox at New Republic. The show will kick off at 5:00pm February 13 and admission is free.
