With new and returning Aggies flooding back into BCS this week, it’s time to start our fall season off right with a nice glass of wine, and Messina Hof has exactly what good Ags need! At Messina Hof Winery, every Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. is Aggie Night out!

Guests enjoy the feeling of getting to enjoy Texas wine with fellow Aggies,”Messina Hof Communications Manager Savannah Gaines says. “Messina Hof wouldn’t be here today without Texas A&M University,” Because Messina Hof is an Aggie-owned winery, they have partnered with The Association of Former Students to create some special, limited wines for every member of The Aggie Network to enjoy, as long as they are of legal drinking age, of course.

Messina Hof’s Aggie Network wines come in a range of flavors to suit every wine-lovers’ taste; they offer bold reds in the Bin 12 and Cabernet Sauvignon, and delicious whites in the sweet and aromatic Chardonnay and the perfect dessert wine, Muscat Canelli.

Every Aggie knows that one of TAMU’s longest standing traditions is Midnight Yell, and Messina Hof named one of their most special wines after the uniquely Aggie experience. This wine is a sweet, full bodied dessert wine with hints of cocoa and butterscotch. The deep red color runs as deep as the spirit running through the hearts of each and every Aggie.

To participate in the fun and relax after a long move-in week, and on every other Thursday this semester, just show the staff your student or faculty ID or flash your Aggie ring to get one complimentary glass of their Aggie Network wine and then following glasses of Aggie Network wines for just $5!

But that’s not all! In conjunction with TAMU’s Aggie Women Network, Messina Hof will present a networking and educational event every first Thursday of the month (Sept 5, Oct 3, Nov 7, Dec 5). Everyone is welcome, and there will be complimentary heavy appetizers. The topic changes each month, so be sure to check the Messina Hof website for more info.
