This app is easily one of the best puzzle games out there. A cryptic message from an old mentor starts your journey through a series of tests to see if you are the one. Taking you through different dimensions and mind-bending puzzles, this game will have you hooked from the very beginning. Controls are intuitive, allowing you to easily explore the brilliantly designed world.

The game now has three parts, insuring hours of gameplay and puzzles more difficult than the last. Not to worry though, hints will guide you through in case you aren’t quite sure what to do next.

 

Peak

Peak – Free (App Store, Google Play, Amazon)

Finally, brain-training that doesn’t require a subscription to use. It seems that most brain-training apps will allow you to try out their program in a tiny tutorial and then ask for a ridiculous amount to continue. Peak allows you to experience fun games that promise to improve mental agility and shows you your progress without committing to a plan. Of course, there is always the option of paying, but the point is that it isn’t necessary. The science behind Peak is backed by neuroscientists from Yale and Cambridge, so you know it’s proven to work.
