The perfect fall activities can often be found at places like corn mazes, farms, and pumpkin patches. The Bryan/College Station area provides delightful pumpkin patches that residents of the area can go to buy pumpkins for Halloween and Thanksgiving. Two main locations in town are well-known pumpkin patches, one in College Station and one in Bryan.
BCS Habitat for Humanity has provided the community with a pumpkin patch in Bryan at 2301 E 29 St. that opened on October 1 and will remain open through October 31. It is open seven days a week, but hours of operation may vary depending on the day, based on outside light and weather mostly. This location has a family atmosphere that will be perfect for your fall activities such as pumpkin picking, taking photos, and helping out the cause by supporting BCS habitat for humanity.
Aggie Habitat for Humanity has provided an equally enjoyable pumpkin patch in College Station on Rock Prairie Rd. on the property of the Covenant Presbyterian Church. This location is expecting over 3000 pumpkins to be delivered over the course of October. They will also be open seven days a week with hours of operation varying by the day. If you go out to this location you can buy pumpkins, paint pumpkins, and take fun fall photos.
The popularity of pumpkin patches in the area continues to increase every year, and they have become BCS residents’ favorite place to go to enjoy fall themed activities with their friends and family. The two main locations make it possible to anyone living in the area to find a pumpkin patch near them no matter where they live. If you love fall, go out to the pumpkin patch near you and support these great causes and the volunteers that do so much to make BCS a great place to live.
