Some of the most eye-catching, intricate artwork is done right on the human body. Artists use needle and ink to create work that stays with that human body each and every day of its life. For the second year in a row, Ink Masters Tattoo Show is coming to College Station. The show brings together only the most talented tattoo artists and piercers from all around the world and is highly anticipated by tattoo enthusiasts all over the state. The exhibition is scheduled to be in town February 2 to 4 at the Brazos Center.

Over 40 artists’ attendance at the show have been announced, and each of them are individually taking appointments from those who wish to participate. Participants will get tattooed by the artist of their choice, and that specific art piece will be part of a daily competition. These award-winning artists will be on top of their game, producing some of the best tattoo art Texas has ever seen.

Ink Masters Tattoo Show travels all over the state, and each show includes contests that test each artist’s skill and creativity. There are numerous awards, from best in show to best traditional, best unusual, best watercolor and more. There isn’t a tattoo style these artists can’t do.

Not only is this an event for tattoo lovers, but families are encouraged to attend, as there will be drawings, face painting and other family friendly activities. The biggest prizes in the drawing will be free tattoos, so six lucky winners will have the opportunity to walk away with their professionally curated art completely paid for.

On the first day of the exhibition, February 2, the doors of the Brazos Center will open at 1 p.m. with $15 admission before 5 p.m. and $20 admission after 5 p.m. The exhibition will be from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, and Sunday, February 4, with $20 admission all day. If you’re looking to attend the event all three days, there is a 3-day weekend pass available for $30. All kids under the age of 15 will be admitted for free.
