The Theatre Company of Bryan is putting on their live rendition of the beloved Disney classic “Mary Poppins.”
Mary Poppins, everyone’s favorite nanny, first captured audiences on the big screen. Her way of turning ordinary days into extraordinary adventures, catchy songs that tricked us into doing boring chores and most importantly bringing families together is given new life on the stage.
Based on the books by P.L. Travers and the classic Walt Disney film, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s “Mary Poppins” delighted Broadway audiences for more than 2,500 performances and received nominations for nine Olivier and seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
The musical at The Theatre Company is directed by Randy Wilson, produced by Gary Thomas; starring Kassady James as Mary Poppins, Roger Pine as Bert, Henry Bradford as Michael Banks and Lauren Moore as Jane Banks.
Tickets are a steal at $20, so snag your seat before they are filled and see Mary Poppins in action before she says farewell to Bryan-College Station and graces another town with her magic. The show’s final curtain call at the Theatre Company is on October 11.
