“The 6th Annual Premier Market,” presented by the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra, is the most unique market experience in the Brazos Valley. This year, “The Premier Market” will feature a great list of participating merchants, and the majority of them are from Texas. Weekend markets are hard to find, so serious market shoppers won’t want to miss out.

Unlike a traditional farmer’s market or artisan market, not all products will be home-made. Merchants at this market will be selling unique specialty items, home accessories, clothing, gourmet foods, jewelry and more. This two-day event is the only upscale market in the area. Although this market only occurs once a year, the higher quality products and extended time frame transforms classic market shopping into something more.

On Friday, April 6, the event will kick off with a VIP event, “Muffins, Mimosas & More!,” for those who sent in an RSVP before April 2nd. The breakfast will begin at 9 a.m. and last until 11 a.m., so those who would like to enjoy some treats while shopping may do so. Shopping for everyone on Friday is schedule from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

On Saturday, April 7, there is a “Bacon & Bloody Mary’s!” special from 10 a.m. to noon, which can be enjoyed by all shoppers. Open shopping on Saturday is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

If you missed the deadline to RSVP for “Muffins, Mimosas & More!” have no fear. To go along with all of that deliciousness, refreshments will be available to shoppers throughout all scheduled shopping hours.

Attending the market gives you the opportunity to get all your spring shopping done, whether it is for Mother’s Day, summer birthdays and weddings or simply transitioning into warmer weather. “The Premier Market” will take place at the Brazos County Expo Center April 9 and 10. Tickets for adult shoppers cost $5, and children ages 10 and under will be admitted for free. Ticket sales support the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra.
