It can be difficult to find family-fun oriented activities during the week of spring break. Luckily, the Bryan/College Station area is host to a number of friendly, creative events available to everyone. One of these events, a painting workshop, will be held in Downtown Bryan during the week of Spring Break.
Organized by the Purple Turtle Art Studio, this workshop will run for three days from March 13 to March 15. The class is three hours long from 9:00am to 12:00pm and children can sign up for one day or all three. All supplies are included, plus a snack, but space is limited and spots can be reserved for $35.
Operated by Le Hale, the Purple Turtle Art Studio has been open in Bryan for 17 years. Hale’s passion for children and art has driven her to volunteer at a number of children’s art camps and programs, including the Brazos Valley Art’s Council and the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Brazos Valley. Hale also has experience teaching at Art’s for Everyone, a non-profit organization and even served on its board of directors.
In addition to their spring break painting workshop, the Purple Turtle Art Studio offers children’s classes that extend throughout the entire semester, as well as adult art classes and events for those seeking to hone their creative skill. They also offer art parties, whether you’re looking for somewhere to host a birthday party for little ones or a team building workshop with fellow colleagues.
This Spring Break, painting workshop will provide children with a fun, creative way to pass the time, express themselves through fun colors and mediums, and release their imagination. This family friendly environment is sure to be the perfect way to kick off Spring Break. To reserve your spot today, head over to their website, purpleturtlestudio.com/childrens-classes.
