Not everyone is lucky enough to travel to an exotic beach or ski resort for a full week and leave all responsibilities here in College Station. If your Spring Break travel plans are not quite up to par this year, have no fear, there is plenty to do in College Station that will make your Spring break worth remembering. Whether you are looking for daytime activities or nighttime activities, we’ve got you covered.

Brazos Valley nightlife this Spring Break will include events around the area to get those not traveling out of town. Texas Live Band Karaoke, Central Texas’ most experienced and professional live band karaoke outfit, will be at Shiner Park on Tuesday, March 14th at 9:45pm. This unique approach to karaoke allows participants to sing their favorite songs with a live band.

St. Patrick’s Day is the perfect night to get out and celebrate the way the Irish do. The Blaggards, an Irish rock band from Houston, is playing at O’Bannon’s Taphouse on Northgate on Friday, March 17th. The Blaggards are appropriate for the occasion and will get you into the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day.

Another Spring Break outing we don’t want to miss is ShakesBEER, a pub crawl down the streets of Downtown Bryan. It will feature actors from the New York Shakespeare Exchange, and tickets are $40. Each ticket will provide you with entry to six bars, six free drinks, and five live Shakespeare performances making it well worth the money. Once again, this is a unique experience for the Brazos Valley and will be from 3-7pm on Saturday, March 18th.

The day time is a crucial part of Spring Break. Pretend you are soaking up the sun on a tropical beach, like everyone on your social media feeds, by heading out to pools around College Station. Make sure you are allowed to enter and then waste the days of your break away poolside.

Spring Break always ensures you will have a little more free time than normal, so wake up and head out to brunch at Blackwater Draw or Hullabaloo Diner to enjoy delicious dishes featuring mimosas that are Instagram worthy and will make your friends jealous of your Spring Break.
