Halloween has come and gone and the holiday season is officially upon us. Many of us want to skip straight to Christmas time and get to decorating, forgetting all about Thanksgiving. Here are some quick, cheap, and easy Thanksgiving decorations that can fill the need to decorate for the holidays.

FALLING LEAVES OF GARLAND

YOU WILL NEED:

• A bag of artificial leaves

• Glitter
• Elmer’s glue
• Ribbon
• A Paintbrush
• Hole Punch

HOW TO DO IT:

1. Take the desired amount of leaves and brush them on one side with the Elmer’s glue.

2. Sprinkle glitter over each leaf and let the glue set.

3. Once the glue has set, shake off the excess glitter.

4. Punch a hole in the top of each leaf.

5. Attach a ribbon strand to each leaf.

6. Attach those strands to the main garland strand.

TURKEY DOOR DECOR

YOU WILL NEED:

• 2 white paper plates
• 1 sheet of black construction paper
• 1 sheet of yellow 12 X 12 construction paper

• 1 sheet of red construction paper

HOW TO DO IT:

1. Cut out two black circles and glue on paper plates to create turkey’s eyes.
2. Take the yellow 12 X 12 paper and fold diagonally to from the turkey’s beak.
3. With the red paper, cut a curvy, think line that will be the turkey’s “snood”.
4. Attach all the elements to the front door to form a turkey face.
