Aggieland’s favorite dance hall will be letting Kevin Fowler and Josh Ward

take the stage on October 21. Kevin Fowler is a Texas Country artist who is not a stranger to College Station. Whether it is Hurricane Harry’s or Wolf Pen Creek Amphitheater, Fowler has performed and made himself known to Texas A&M students. Fowler is known as one of the biggest names in Texas country music and his music is often compared to Texas Country artists he has performed with in the past such as Cody Johnson, Randy Rodgers Band, and Rodger Creager. Some of Fowler’s most well known songs include “Hard Man to Love”, “That Girl”, and “Long Line of Losers”. All of these songs are Fowler to the core, and his fans appreciate his way of putting himself into each song he writes. Fowler’s new single, “He Ain’t No Cowboy”, was released September 30 and is about the way country men love the woman in their life. He is telling the woman he loves that her new man will not love her the way he did because “he ain’t no cowboy”. The song is a real cowboy’s anthem, and there is no doubt he will be playing it at the show.

Josh Ward, an artist known for his traditional country sound and strong voice, will also be performing. Ward’s most recent album was released in 2015, and he has been a common name for Texas country music fans since then. These two iconic country artists in one night are going to make for a memorable, can’t miss performance.

The doors will be opening at 9pm on October 21. General admission tickets are being sold online by Hurricane Harry’s for $12 but are also be available for purchase at Cavender’s Boot City on Highway 6 in College Station or the Aggieland Outfitters’ University Drive location.
